Job Description:

Teradyne’s Solution Engineering Group (SEG) Program Management Office (PMO) is hiring a Project Manager for Italy. This position is to provide project management leadership and oversight for the vital projects in the region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the complex cross functional integration for a project
  • Manage overall project plans ensuring project management best practice are applied
  • Ensure project objectives are met
  • Ensure execution is meeting expectations and gaps are being driven to closure
  • Ensure appropriate communication is taking place at all levels in the organization and with the customer
  • Ensure cross functional & regional integration issues are driven to resolution
  • Communicate and synthesize status on all active projects to key stakeholders
  • Identify and manage issues to closure with timely escalation
  • Work with regional managers and project leads to identify and drive closure on resource & skill gaps

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • BS degree in engineering. Electrical, Computer, or Software preferred.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience managing teams in multiple geographic locations
  • Functional management experience is a plus
  • Project Management Professional with current PMP certification
  • Good organizational and communication skills including ability to communicate and foster communication between project groups.
