Job Description:

An established multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering a wide range of residential and mixed-use schemes across the East and South East of England is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Employer’s Agent to join their growing team in Chelmsford. The Senior Project Manager will manage projects from inception to completion and collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers to achieve high-quality outcomes for clients.

Job Responsibility:

Lead multiple projects from inception through to completion
deliver cost-effective and high-quality outcomes for public and private sector clients
manage pre- and post-contract services including feasibility studies, procurement, planning, contract administration and project delivery under Design & Build contracts
build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors
mentor junior team members
contribute to business development efforts

Requirements:

Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
full membership of RICS, CIOB or APM is highly desirable
candidates nearing APC or equivalent professional qualification will also be considered
current CSCS card
full UK driving licence
experience acting as Employer’s Agent on Design & Build contracts
ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision
experience working with housing associations, local authorities or private developers is beneficial
