We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and execute low voltage commercial construction projects in Eagan, Minnesota. This role requires a strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in financial control, resource coordination, and end-to-end project delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Manage multiple active low voltage projects ranging from $250K to $8M annually, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
Develop and implement installation schedules while executing responsibility matrices effectively
Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, as-built documentation, and project closeout packages with precision
Monitor job economics, including labor productivity, material forecasting, and cost-to-complete tracking
Lead construction crews, assign work packages, and coordinate specialty subcontractors to optimize resource allocation
Maintain accountability through clear installation standards, quality checks, and punch list completion
Ensure seamless procurement processes and plan around lead times to avoid delays
Deliver end-to-end project management, including testing, certification, programming, and commissioning
Collaborate with clients, security directors, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and project turnover
Provide comprehensive turnover packages, including training, manuals, warranty documentation, and acceptance testing
Requirements:
Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with budgets ranging from $4M to $8M annually
Proficiency in structured cabling, access control, AV systems, cameras, intrusion, and Wi-Fi installations
Strong understanding of construction project management fundamentals, including scheduling and scope enforcement
Expertise in financial tracking, change management, and margin protection
Ability to coordinate multiple crews and manage peak labor demands effectively
Familiarity with procurement processes and lead time planning
Competence in systems commissioning, testing, and certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools
