Job Description:

You will be working side-by-side with the team to ensure the success of a project – from its initiation to design phase to construction and to completion. The projects are many and varied, including variations in project dollar value and complexity. You will be exposed to Greenfield, Brownfield, AEI works, Fit-outs & Refurbishments for both Tenants and Landlords in Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Data Centre, Hospitality and Education.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the team to ensure the success of a project from its initiation to design phase to construction and to completion
  • Independently handle and perform the lead PM and Contract Administrator role
  • Manage small teams of junior project managers in the delivery of multiple projects
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors to ensure no downtime during works
  • Preparing project specifications and project timeline
  • Preparing tender or bid documents and vendor procurement
  • Preparing weekly project reports and updates to be submitted the stakeholders
  • Delivering projects within the established budgets and timelines
  • Carrying out value engineering, build ability analysis, critical reviews of design and documentation

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 8 to 10 years experience in design, construction, project management in greenfield, brownfield, AEI works, and interior fit-out projects for multinational clients
  • Strong background in all aspects of project management including management on schedule, quality, cost and risk management, and negotiation
  • Background in Architecture or Engineering will be beneficial
  • Expertise in surveying a client’s basic needs, completing commercial assessments, and preparing PM proposals
  • High level of understanding and technical expertise in business
  • Well versed in project products, systems, processes, tools and best practices
  • Capable of handling complex site operations
  • Great sense of urgency when it comes to solving problems, improving products or services, finding new markets, and implementing new strategies
  • Resilient and can deal effectively with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Know how to negotiate to generate risk-assessed solutions, and how to handle ambiguities
  • Capable of leading and motivating project team members
  • Capable of leading by example and fostering a creative environment
  • Structured and organised approach with an eye for detail
  • Tech-savvy
