Join a leading company as a Smart City Project Manager, overseeing complex urban initiatives. As a Smart City Project Manager, you will take the lead in delivering a complex, multi-dimensional smart city initiative that spans both digital application development and physical infrastructure. This is not just about building a mobile app—it’s about shaping the future of urban living through Smart Energy, Smart Mobility, Smart Home, and beyond. You will act as the central orchestrator in a multi-vendor environment, ensuring seamless coordination, technical integration, and stakeholder alignment. From proposal to implementation, you’ll be the driving force behind a project that redefines how cities operate and how people live.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of a smart city project that includes both digital and physical components
  • Act as the central point of coordination across multiple vendors and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end project alignment
  • Manage requirement definitions and ensure consistency with joint venture (JV) expectations and project scope
  • Oversee the design and management of the administration interface for application functions
  • Ensure smooth integration and technical compatibility across all external solution vendors
  • Participate from the proposal stage through requirement definition, ensuring a smooth transition into development while managing scope and budget risks
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor progress to ensure successful delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-vendor projects that span both digital applications and physical smart city infrastructure
  • At least 5 years of project management experience, with 3+ years in smart city or urban development
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in joint venture or multi-party environments
  • Business-level proficiency in both Vietnamese and English
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage diverse teams and vendors across multiple disciplines
  • High adaptability to dynamic project scopes and tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in preparing and delivering professional documentation and presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, IT, or a related field
  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the operation of residential complexes or building management
  • Familiarity with IoT, integrated urban solutions, or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of AI technologies, especially image recognition, and their application in smart city solutions
  • Japanese language proficiency is a plus
