Our client is a leading industrial firm, and they have a need for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the project schedule. This role will communicate internally with the project team and externally with vendors and customers to ensure that all projects assigned are processed through the organization maintaining all scheduled dates and equipment quality using sound engineering and business practices. The Project Manager is to monitor all assigned projects’ financial performance and ensure that the projects stay within budget.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain the project equipment list per the project procedure
Work closely with the customer after the sale to ensure a successful project
Responsible for communicating the financial status of all assigned projects with management
Manage and maintain the project schedule utilizing the approved methods and tools used
Maintain and update project schedules and tasks daily
Develop and coordinates project schedules with engineering, design, manufacturing, and vendors
Ensure all project invoices are sent on time and payment is received in a timely manner
Answer for all budget deviations on assigned projects
Oversee the project equipment list and requisition the purchase of all required items for an assigned project
Control P&ID internal workflow and review project P&ID’s per the application/sales and process engineer’s design
Attend customer or internal weekly project meetings if applicable
Ensure that solid engineering judgment and appropriate standards are followed on an all assigned projects
Submittal requests of all project drawings to the customer, engineering, and manufacturing
Communicate the project schedule with the customer / end user
Communicate with the project team to meet the project schedule, budget, or customer requirements
Requirements:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four year university
10 years of Industrial Engineering equipment experience
3 plus years of experience should be as a Project Manager/Engineer leader
