Project Manager

• Manage photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from early development through construction and commissioning
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between technical, environmental, legal, financial, and construction teams
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality to ensure compliance with German regulations, technical standards, and internal company procedures
• Collaborate with local authorities, grid operators (TSO/DSO), consultants, landowners, and subcontractors
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• propose corrective actions when necessary
• Support the preparation of project documentation, tenders, and contracts including EPC, O&M, and equipment supply agreements
• Report project progress to management and actively participate in internal project meetings
• Support due diligence processes, technical audits, and investment project evaluations
• Monitor the German PV and BESS market to stay up to date with regulatory changes and provide recommendations for project development strategies

• University degree in engineering (preferably electrical, energy, environmental, or civil engineering)
• Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in managing infrastructure or renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on PV and/or BESS
• Solid understanding of the project development process in Germany, including planning, permitting, and grid connection procedures
• Proven experience in coordinating with contractors, design offices, and public authorities
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination
• Proficiency in German (minimum B2, ideally C1) and very good command of English
• Proficient user of MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet)
• Willingness to travel within Germany
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience in international environments and familiarity with EPC or FIDIC contracts is a plus
