Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery governance of our Pronto ERP upgrade. This role is ideal for a highly organised, delivery‑focused PM who can confidently manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and vendors—while maintaining strong project momentum in a part-time (3 or 4 days), 12 month fixed term contract capacity. Based at our Oakleigh South office, you will oversee the full delivery lifecycle of the Pronto ERP upgrade, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and with clear communication across both business and IT teams. You will drive governance, manage RAID, enable delivery leads, and keep all moving parts aligned toward a successful go-live.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, schedule, and key milestones
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies (functional, technical, data)
  • Track risks, issues, actions, and decisions (RAID)
  • Maintain strong scope control and change management discipline
  • Own reporting cadence, including weekly status and steering committee updates
  • Provide clear, concise updates to the IT Manager and leadership
  • Maintain decision logs and manage escalations
  • Ensure project standards, documentation, and artefacts are consistently applied
  • Coordinate internal teams and external Pronto and implementation partners
  • Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, and project ceremonies
  • Manage expectations across business, IT, and multiple vendors
  • Support Functional, Technical, and Data Leads to meet their delivery outcomes
  • Remove blockers and escalate issues appropriately
  • Support SIT, UAT, Cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP project delivery—upgrade experience essential
  • Understanding of ERP functional vs technical responsibilities
  • Solid knowledge of governance frameworks (RAID, stage gates, change control)
  • Strong understanding of testing phases: SIT, UAT, cutover, stabilisation
  • Ability to work within defined decision authorities and RACI models
  • 5+ years managing medium to large ERP projects end-to-end
  • Proven experience delivering ERP projects (Pronto experience highly desirable)
  • Strong project management discipline (Waterfall or Hybrid)
  • Experience coordinating functional and technical leads
  • Strong governance, RAID, dependency, and schedule management capability
  • History of delivering in part-time or fractional PM roles
