A leading independent construction consultancy based in Central London is seeking a Project Manager to join their established commercial team. This Project Manager will deliver high-value office refurbishments and mixed-use developments across Zones 1-2. The Project Manager will work with institutional investors, asset managers and corporate occupiers on CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B fit-out schemes. The Project Manager will take schemes from feasibility through to completion, operating across RIBA Stages 1-7. The Project Manager will manage procurement strategies, oversee programme performance and administer contracts under JCT Design & Build and JCT Standard Building Contracts. Projects will range from £5m-£50m in value, often within occupied commercial buildings requiring careful logistical planning.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver high-value office refurbishments and mixed-use developments across Zones 1-2
Work with institutional investors, asset managers and corporate occupiers on CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B fit-out schemes
Take schemes from feasibility through to completion, operating across RIBA Stages 1-7
Manage procurement strategies
Oversee programme performance
Administer contracts under JCT Design & Build and JCT Standard Building Contracts
Lead project meetings
Manage design coordination
Control risk registers
Report directly to key stakeholders
Oversee contractor performance
Monitor change control procedures
Ensure delivery aligns with cost and programme objectives
Requirements:
Prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager
Construction-related degree (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or similar)
Ideally MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM qualified, or working towards chartership
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
Strong knowledge of commercial office fit-out delivery
Strong knowledge of consultancy-side project management
