Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to support a short-term contract assignment in the education sector. This position will oversee on-site event coordination activities, helping ensure an organized and efficient check-in and check-out process for attendees. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership skills, works well across teams, and can manage event-day operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage on-site attendance flow by coordinating the sign-in and sign-out process for participants throughout the assignment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the event location and maintain a seamless experience for guests and staff
  • Organize event-day logistics to keep activities running on schedule and address issues as they arise
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders before and during the assignment to confirm expectations and operational details
  • Track participant movement accurately and maintain organized records related to attendance activity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional contacts to support smooth execution of the one-day engagement

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading projects or coordinating operational activities in a detail-focused setting
  • Background in formal project management methodologies with the ability to manage timelines and priorities effectively
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Experience working across teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum concepts is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work on-site in Cypress, Texas for a one-day contract assignment

Nice to have

  • PMP certification is preferred
