Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, strategic regional and global technology initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and exceptional executive communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in application programming, database, and system design, experience planning and managing functional testing, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling presentations for executive stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Lead regional and global technology projects using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies across all phases—planning, design, development, testing, and implementation
Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations
Manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams across regions, ensuring effective communication and alignment
Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones
Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships as applicable
Develop and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans to ensure project success
Provide clear project governance, maintaining compliance with corporate standards and methodologies
Monitor and report on project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues to keep initiatives on track
Maintain complete and current project documentation within designated repositories
Serve as the primary liaison to executive leadership, providing clear, concise updates and strategic recommendations
Develop and deliver high-impact presentations that translate complex technical data into actionable insights for decision-makers
Build and nurture collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels
Represent the project management function in executive and cross-functional forums to drive alignment and visibility
Support smaller-scale projects and technology product enhancements as needed
Mentor junior project managers and promote best practices across the PMO
Stay current on emerging technologies and methodologies relevant to enterprise IT projects
Occasionally provide off-hours support or travel for global project coordination

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required
MBA preferred
5+ years of project management experience, ideally leading technology initiatives in enterprise environments
Strong understanding of application programming, database structures, and system design
Proven experience planning and managing functional testing
Exceptional ability to present technical concepts effectively to executive audiences
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Experience managing cross-functional, global project teams
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Nice to have:

Experience within the insurance or brokerage industry is a plus
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
