Job Description:

I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on a number of exciting projects across the North East as part of our main contractors successful and growing team. I am currently looking for a candidate to work on commercial projects with a view to assisting in securing future work in the area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project
  • Conducting regular site safety checks
  • Ensuring the project runs to program and budget
  • Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planner and other appropriate production personnel
  • Ensuring the project team comply with the Companies Business Management System
  • Managing multi disciplinary teams
  • Cost Control
  • Maintaining effective long term relationships with the customer and their representatives/ advisors
  • Monitoring, support, mentoring and counselling members of the project team in their personal development
  • Weekly review of progress against Target Programme

Requirements:

  • Previous Project Management experience working with large specifically on Design and Build projects upwards in value of £10m+
  • Experience of project planning
  • Must have prior industrial experience
  • Minimum HNC qualified
  • 5 day SMSTS
  • Professional qualification
  • High level of leadership and management skills
  • Relevant sectors: Residential, Healthcare
