Project Manager – National Programme. This opportunity sits with a large public sector organisation and will be supporting a high-profile national programme. As the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in rolling out a standardised service across multiple districts, each at different stages of maturity. You’ll work closely SME's, operational teams, and national stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and measurable improvements in service delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the planning and delivery of a national project
Support implementation across multiple regions, tailoring your approach based on local needs
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones
Track progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring delivery stays on course
Drive benefits realisation, focusing on improved access and system performance
Facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions to unblock delivery challenges
Provide regular reporting and insights to programme leadership
Requirements:
3–5+ years’ experience in project management
Proven delivery of complex, multi-workstream programmes
Experience in the healthcare and/or public sector (highly preferred)
Experience working across multiple stakeholders and delivery teams
Strong track record of delivering projects on time and to plan
Strong planning, governance, and reporting capability
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Ability to use data and insights to drive decisions and improvements
Comfortable managing risk, issues, and ambiguity
Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
