We’re hiring a Project Manager – North to support the next stage of our exciting growth journey. Reporting to our Property Director, you’ll play a vital role in delivering all new builds to the highest standards — ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and fully set up to enable our Operations teams to launch successfully. This is a field-based role covering the Midlands and Northern region.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with the acquisitions team to assess potential new build sites and conduct thorough technical assessments
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for each new build
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to move projects efficiently through the design and costing phase
Identify and engage reliable contractors, suppliers, and vendors for the construction phase
Supervise on-site build dates, making sure construction progress is on track and adheres to the agreed schedule and quality standards
Regular site inspections ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Responsible for financial oversight and reporting of each project, including cost control, tracking expenses, and managing budget variations
Maintain clear and regular communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and relevant authorities throughout the project life-cycle
Oversee necessary surveys to identify potential challenges that may affect project timescales
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints
Requirements:
Proven experience as a project manager in property development or construction
Strong knowledge of technical requirements related to building infrastructure (power, water, drainage, HVAC) and relevant surveys (asbestos, drainage)
Familiarity with construction regulations, permits, and compliance standards
Excellent organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address unforeseen challenges during the project lifecycle
Financial acumen and proficiency in budget management to deliver projects within established financial constraints
Project management certifications would be advantageous
Familiarity with QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or a casual dining environment is ideal
Strong QSR or casual dining experience at some point across your career is essential
