Job Responsibility:
Lead end to end delivery of large-scale projects (circa $50M), ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, governance frameworks, and risk management strategies
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and external partners
Manage stakeholder engagement at all levels, providing clear communication and reporting on progress, risks, and issues
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, and cost control to maintain profitability and sustainability
Identify and mitigate risks proactively, implementing contingency plans where necessary
Champion safety, compliance, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or Project Management
PMP or equivalent certification highly desirable
Proven track record managing complex projects in high-tech, defence, aerospace, or similar industries
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) and governance frameworks
Experience in contract management and negotiation for large-scale projects
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders
Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
Ability to operate under strict compliance and regulatory standards
Australian citizenship is essential in order to be eligible for NV1 Defence clearance
