Job Description:

As a Project Manager, you will lead multiple new connection utility projects of varying sizes within the specified South West Region for a mixture of clients. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, delivering all objectives and exceeding client expectations.

Job Responsibility:

Project manage works in accordance with contract terms and conditions
Plan and schedule onsite/offsite works and connections with the construction support team
Order materials and equipment to correct specifications and design
Forecast resources with the Regional Manager to ensure project delivery
Promote a culture of Health, Safety, and Quality on all projects
Prepare project-specific RAMS and submit to clients in advance
Manage project financials, including margin, cash flow, cost variations, and invoicing
Prepare and communicate project reports to internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, GTs, IGTs, and Water Companies for final connections

Requirements:

Experience in utilities, construction, or similar sectors
Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities
Strong IT skills and attention to detail
Commercially minded with project, financial, and contract management experience
Logical thinker with creative problem-solving ability
SMSTS qualification
Street Works supervisor qualification
HNC in engineering or similar discipline

What we offer:

Car Alloawnce - £6750
Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
25 days holiday + bank holidays, plus up to 3 extra days for long service
