Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas. This is a long-term contract position, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering construction projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and capable of driving projects to successful completion within budget and timelines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise all stages of construction projects, from site evaluation and design planning to budgeting, permitting, and final delivery
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address challenges, and ensure adherence to project standards
  • Manage relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors, ensuring quality and performance
  • Collaborate closely with departments such as Real Estate, Operations, Facilities, Finance, and Leadership to align project objectives
  • Evaluate and approve bids, change orders, and invoices to maintain cost efficiency and accuracy
  • Lead and mentor the construction team, fostering growth and supporting organizational goals
  • Implement strategies for process improvements, cost-saving measures, and enhanced workflow efficiencies
  • Ensure all projects meet quality expectations, budget constraints, and established timelines
  • Identify and resolve any issues that arise during project execution to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management and construction project oversight
  • Strong ability to manage logistics, warehouse operations, and purchase processes
  • Familiarity with budgeting, permitting, and vendor management in construction
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing teams
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost control
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and external partners
  • Ability to travel for site visits and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
