We’re seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong hands-on project planning skills to support automation and distribution-center initiatives for a Fortune 500 client. This role will play a critical part in driving major warehouse-focused programs — including AutoStore deployments and the stand-up of a new distribution center in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage detailed project plans across automation, warehouse operations, construction-aligned schedules, and supporting infrastructure activities
Track tasks, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple concurrent workstreams and provide proactive mitigation strategies
Support large-scale automation initiatives, including AutoStore implementations and new distribution center buildouts
Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, supply chain teams, automation engineering, construction partners, and infrastructure groups
Ensure alignment between project timelines and construction schedules, identifying constraints and enabling smooth execution across on-site and remote teams
Coordinate supporting infrastructure tasks — such as MDF/IDF readiness, network needs, and security requirements — with internal teams and vendors
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, reporting, and executive-level updates
Facilitate communication and alignment among cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, operations, construction, and security teams
Oversee vendor and third-party engagements as needed to support automation and infrastructure project delivery
Requirements:
8+ years of professional project management experience
Demonstrated ability to create and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues
Experience coordinating work across warehouse, distribution, supply chain, or automation environments
Ability to work closely with construction and facilities teams, aligning technology milestones with physical build activities
Familiarity with core infrastructure components such as MDF/IDF rooms, network spaces, power/cooling needs, or security/vendor coordination
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills
Experience managing multi-team, multi-site project dependencies within large enterprise environments
Nice to have:
Experience supporting warehouse automation systems such as AutoStore
Familiarity with project tools, including Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet
Experience with structured risk management and dependency tracking
