The Project Manager associate is responsible for leading a portfolio of projects supporting the Service Deliver Centers (SDCs). Projects could include transitions to a SDC, initiatives within a SDC, or projects supporting our stakeholders and BPO. A key focus for this position is to perform transitions and projects in an efficient and effective manner with minimal risk to the business. In addition, the role will develop financial analysis to help drive long-term strategy of the global SDCs.
Job Responsibility:

Successful planning, executing, and delivering one or more concurrent medium/large projects
Defining, communicating, and delivering project scope, goals and deliverables
Works directly with executive and director level business leaders to understand the strategic objectives for major business change initiatives and define the tactical programs/projects to realize these objectives
Creating and organizing project work, required documents and deliverables for validation and compliance traceability
Setting own work direction and completing work tasks along with assigned project team members
Leading project teams in accordance with established BD project management methodologies and practices, maintaining optimal team performance on assigned project tasks and deliverables
Managing project risks and issues, ensuring their timely mitigation and resolution with impacted stakeholders
Providing timely and effective project communications, including meeting facilitation, and status reporting
Engaging and Influencing with third party providers to ensure delivery of key objectives and compliance with SLAs
Planning and executing change management activities related to each assigned project
Responsible for data and analytics utilizing multiple sources of data to identify opportunities for growth of SDCs
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems and data analytics tools
Ability to develop data into information and information into insight to drive business decisions
Identify, analyze, and interpret complex data to calculate financial savings delivered by SDC model
Required to execute shared services transition methodology according to BD guidelines and recommendations
Planning, organizing and leading workshops with stakeholders to gather necessary information to appropriately plan each transition
Documents and maintains policies, procedures, and accelerators to be used as best practice for companywide transition management into service delivery centers
Provide end to end transparency of our demand and transition pipeline
Provide status updates within required on-line tools and during phase gate stakeholder meetings
Works with business leadership and TGS business partners to build trust and identify and scope new work transitions
Assists in building company assessment against industry benchmarks for SDC and BPO utilization
Supports analysis of “as is” service delivery models for respective functions, business groups and teams
Creates and maintains plans for other projects that impact the SDC in the region
Manages other regional SDC projects and controls status, risk, issues, and budgets appropriately
Participates in M&A Due Diligence activities and integration plans
Occasionally will be asked to support regional center leadership in operations, center, or escalation related topics
Supports development of SDC strategy, communications, and analysis
Contributes to large-scale strategic projects as well as ongoing operational activities from a data perspective
Requirements:
4+ years overall project management experience, including experience driving medium to large sized projects from initiation through closure
3 years working with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in related field of study with a minimum of 4+ years working for a large global manufacturing company OR Formal project management training plus minimum of 6+ years work experience in a large global manufacturing company managing medium sized global projects
Very strong organizational, project planning, scheduling and risk management skills and demonstrated experience using project management tools and software (i.e.: Microsoft Project)
Proficient in the use of all MS Office tools (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
Basic understanding of BD's Key Driver goals, BD’s overall organization, and how project portfolio is related to achieving goals
Can process high volume of data and translate into conclusions, recommendations, solutions
Technical expertise in data models, database design and development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Able to maintain regular, effective communications with the project team, resource managers and sponsors
Proven ability to apply appropriate communication, facilitation & escalation skills
Develops clear problem statements and resolution options for escalation to project sponsors and management
Able to establish a governance structure with operating mechanisms and cadence appropriate for VP or C-level sponsors
Capable of demonstrating a knowledge of regional concerns and differences and build trust
Demonstrated accountability and ownership of project outcomes
Can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment under changeable priorities
Be able to project a positive attitude and evoke positive responses from others
Must be able to facilitate difficult working sessions with senior leaders and handle positive and negative feedback and inputs appropriately

Ability to coach and supervise experienced professional associates, usually in a matrix structure as aligned to projects
Able to provide honest feedback and hold crucial conversations with direct reports on performance and results and provide input to all HR related matters including annual compensation planning
Nice to have:
Formal training in project management via company, college or other 3rd party provided project management training course(s) and demonstrated experience as a project team leader
PMI, PMP certification, Six Sigma or Lean Management Certification
