We are seeking a proactive and capable Project Manager to join TM Forum’s Project Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of medium-scale or moderately complex projects that support TM Forum’s Mission programs— and foundational projects supporting the Open Digital Architecture (ODA). You will work across departments, managing internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with TM Forum’s quality standards. Job Responsibility:
Take responsibility for the definition, planning, and successful execution of medium-scale projects or sub-projects
Apply TM Forum’s standard project management methods and tools, in line with the Collaboration Playbook
Develop realistic and achievable project plans, including deliverables, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements
Manage risk, change control, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as needed to stay within agreed cost, time, scope, and quality parameters
Facilitate effective collaboration across teams and ensure alignment between all project stakeholders
Ensure regular communication and project updates to internal and external stakeholders
Conduct project closure activities, including documentation and lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement across the PMO
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience managing medium-scale or cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Proficiency in project management methodologies (traditional, agile, and hybrid), with the ability to apply the right approach based on project needs
Proven experience in managing the delivery of end to end software development projects
Strong planning and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing competing priorities effectively
Experience using software delivery tools and metrics such as Jira and Github
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and reporting
Nice to have:
Experience in telecoms, digital services, or standards development environments is an advantage but not required
