Job Responsibility:
Lead projects from award through to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Oversee Procurement and coordination of materials, Change order pricing, tracking, and documentation, Submittals, RFIs, RFQs, and shop drawing processes, Document control and project correspondence
Maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Support cost-effective project delivery through strong coordination and decision-making
Contribute to structural steel estimating efforts as needed, including quantity take-offs and scope reviews
Review drawings and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and cost impacts
Support tender preparation and budgeting alongside the estimating team
Help ensure seamless transition from estimating to project execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
Identify opportunities to improve processes and project outcomes
Support team success through collaboration, accountability, and shared goals
Manage and track all project documentation including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and site instructions
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly controlled
Coordinate information flow between client, suppliers, and internal teams
Ensure timely processing of submittals and contract changes
Requirements:
5 –10 years of Fabrication experience, including 3–5 years as a Qualified Project Manager
Experience in structural steel or heavy civil/bridge projects (fabrication experience preferred)
Proven ability to deliver projects end-to-end, including commercial management and client relations
Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project controls
Exposure to structural steel estimating is considered a strong asset
