The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through final completion. This role serves as the operational leader of the company, ensuring projects are properly scheduled, staffed, supplied, and executed with excellence. The Project Manager maintains a constant pulse on all active and upcoming jobs, especially the next two weeks of production, to proactively manage schedules, materials, labor, subcontractors, warehouse operations, and customer expectations. This position requires strong leadership, technical construction knowledge, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while reinforcing the values and culture of our family-owned, veteran-owned, and locally operated company.
Job Responsibility
Run the day-to-day operational management of all remodeling projects
Maintain full visibility of all active jobs and upcoming work schedules
Keep a detailed and accurate rolling two-week production outlook for all projects
Coordinate schedules for installation teams, subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries
Anticipate scheduling conflicts or delays and proactively implement solutions
Conduct regular job site visits to ensure work quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget expectations
Communicate daily with install teams, office staff, suppliers, and ownership regarding project status
Track and verify all material orders for upcoming projects
Ensure all required materials are ordered, received, inspected, and available prior to installation dates
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm lead times and delivery schedules
Ensure install teams are equipped with the correct materials, tools, and job information before project start dates
Supervise the Warehouse Associate and maintain oversight and organization of the warehouse and material storage areas
Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently maintained
Confirm materials are properly staged and prepared for upcoming install teams
Coordinate material flow between suppliers, warehouse, and job sites
Develop and enforce warehouse procedures that improve operational efficiency
Oversee company vehicle maintenance schedules and inspections
Ensure install teams maintain clean, organized, and professional vehicles
Monitor vehicle conditions and coordinate repairs or preventative maintenance as needed
Possess strong working knowledge of residential remodeling and construction practices
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to installation teams
Review project scopes and identify potential construction or installation challenges before work begins
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling, construction management, or project management
Strong knowledge of kitchen, bathroom, and interior remodeling processes
Proven leadership and team management experience
Ability to read plans, scopes of work, and construction documents
Strong scheduling, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades
Proficient with project management software, scheduling tools, and communication platforms
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to lift materials and perform job site inspections as needed
