The Project Manager, APAC Distribution Operations will lead targeted change initiatives with a primary focus on improving critical business processes and business excellence initiatives across distribution operations. Whilst some initiatives will be delivered independently, the majority will involve managing and/or collaborating within, cross-functional team environments. This role will require the ability to collaborate with distribution team/s, functional colleagues, project team members and sponsors to identify improvement opportunities, develop and execute plans (objectives, scope, issues, risks & budget), monitor progress/milestones and drive delivery through implementation and beyond.
Job Responsibility:
Manages multiple Distribution projects with broad ranges to meet business and corporate goals and objectives
Assists in the preparation of business cases to initiate projects
Establishes requirements with customers and key stakeholders
Assists with the development and management of project budgets, schedules and strives to meet performance requirements
Applies project management discipline and rigor to ensure successful implementation of projects
Establishes roles, responsibilities and competencies required for the project
Builds and manages an effective project team
Develops an overall project plan that may include
Project Charter, risk assessments, timeline and milestones, financial projections, performance measures, and communication and change management plans
Establishes organization and governance structures to successfully deliver project objectives
Effectively leads teams to meet project deliverables OR delivers initiatives as a sole project expert
Provides recognition to project and customer team members
Conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses using appropriate tools and techniques to understand severity of potential risks
Identifies project uncertainties and risks and recommends risk mitigation strategies
Escalates decisions and unresolved issues to appropriate parties
Owns a project through predefined completion criteria
Communicates project goals, objectives, key status information and overall impact of the project effectively with project team members, customers and key stakeholders
Conducts lessons learned for projects and shares and applies learnings to future initiatives
Develops and maintains subject matter expertise on project management methodology

Requirements:
5 years minimum project management experience
Project Management skills and methodology
Has organized and managed small-medium sized and/or complex projects
Demonstrates a working knowledge of processes and tools for managing all phases of a project
Able to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
Good understanding of Distribution operations
and interactions with Supply Chain and Customer Service
Demonstrates initiative and a sense of urgency for achieving results
Strong problem solving skills including working effectively across functions and locations
Strong negotiation, presentation, listening and communication skills at all levels
Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity with ability to adapt style to fit culture
Familiar with global business environments and supply chain dependencies
Understanding of sales and distribution channels
Nice to have:
Project management certification
Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP systems
Certified Lean 6 Sigma Green (or Black Belt)
Competency in MS Project, Smartsheet, Trello, JIRA, Confluence
