The Project Manager will plan and manage the delivery of projects including but not limited to procurement, management of resources, co-ordination and communication of stakeholders, and reporting and governance.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the delivery of a small set of projects using the department’s project management methodologies
Engage with stakeholders, including senior executives, to plan and manage projects successfully
Ensure that the project delivers in alignment with the stated strategic directives
Undertake project governance, including, but not limited to: project initiation, transition to BAU and closure, scope, schedule, and delivery timeframe management, reporting and presenting to Senior Executives, Program/Project Boards, and other governance bodies, budget and financial management and reporting, and active management of risks and issues
Requirements:
Must hold an active TSPV clearance
Candidate must be an Australian citizen
5 years experience
Experience working with senior executives to shape outcomes and achieve traction and deliver complex ICT projects
Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to establish an agreed set of priorities, frameworks, and methodologies to deliver quality outcomes
Experience delivering projects in various methodologies (Prince2, MSP, Agile, SAFe, Hybrid)
