Job Description

At Convergence Group, we’ve spent over 20 years quietly powering some of the UK’s most complex networks - and now we’re growing fast. We’re looking for a Transformation Project Manager to take ownership of internal projects delivering impact at pace, helping to steer integrations, transformations, and change that will shape the future of Convergence Group.

Job Responsibility

  • Bring people together - Run kick-offs, workshops, and regular project updates ensuring stakeholders stay aligned. You’ll confidently present progress both internally and to customers
  • Build trusted relationships - Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams, acting as a supportive, insightful advisor who helps steer delivery in the right direction. Manage suppliers including selection, engagement, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
  • Solve problems before they grow - Stay ahead of risks or blockers, handle challenging conversations when needed, and maintain clear documentation including RAID logs, PID’s, SoW’s and action logs sharp to keep projects moving
  • Maintain governance and control - Follow best-practice processes, uphold governance standards, interpret and validate order forms to ensure alignment with project scope, and manage resources and change requests to keep projects organised and compliant

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex infrastructure projects within IT or Telecoms environments
  • A proven track record of managing multiple internal projects and delivering on time and within budget
  • Experience with projects delivering WAN and LAN solutions, and ideally knowledge of installations to Datacentres and POP sites
  • Experience delivering integration projects involving networks, systems, finance and people
