Job Description

We are looking for a technology-focused Project Manager who thrives in fast-moving fintech environments and has strong experience delivering software and platform initiatives in Agile/Scrum environments. You will work closely with engineering, product, architecture, security and business stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of critical initiatives across the myPOS payments platform. This role operates in a hybrid delivery model (Agile + Waterfall) but our engineering teams primarily work in Scrum, so experience operating as both a Project Manager and Scrum Master is essential.

Job Responsibility

  • Driving Technology Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology and payments platform projects
  • Manage scope, delivery timelines, milestones, dependencies and resources
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to strategic priorities
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, security, compliance and operations
  • Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Act as Scrum Master where required, supporting teams to deliver effectively
  • Remove delivery blockers and help teams maintain high delivery velocity
  • Promote Agile best practices across teams
  • Stakeholder & Delivery Management: Build strong relationships with technology and business stakeholders
  • Provide clear and transparent delivery reporting and status updates

Requirements

  • 3-6+ years experience as a Project Manager delivering technology projects
  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience acting as Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead
  • Proven experience delivering software development or technology platform projects
  • Experience working in payments, fintech, banking or financial services
  • Experience operating in hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models
  • Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
  • Strong project planning and delivery management skills evidenced by successful delivery of past projects
  • Ability to manage multiple complex technical initiatives and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and risk management capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude with curiosity, adaptability and a genuine willingness to learn, grow and support others in a fast-paced fintech environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks

  • This role requires advanced expertise in Jira and Confluence
