We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead a portfolio of IT and infrastructure initiatives for a machinery manufacturing organization in Warren, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position will coordinate cross-functional teams, guide vendor partnerships, and keep multiple workstreams on track across network-related improvements and enterprise software planning. The role is best suited for someone who can drive organization, documentation, and delivery while partnering closely with technical staff and business stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Direct several concurrent infrastructure efforts involving network readiness, facility technology upgrades, and site connectivity improvements
Coordinate internal IT personnel and external service providers to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and installation activities stay aligned with business objectives
Oversee network-focused initiatives such as cabling updates, equipment cabinet relocation, component placement verification, and documentation of completed configurations
Support vendor evaluation and selection for digital signage deployments and conference room technology enhancements
Manage building network assessment activities, including coverage analysis and collaboration with technical teams to map connectivity needs across facilities
Lead planning and execution for bringing an older building onto the company network, including setup coordination and implementation tracking
Partner with a parallel project lead to prepare for an upcoming enterprise platform upgrade, including scheduling, readiness planning, and project artifact creation
Provide oversight for data quality improvement efforts and help transition planning toward future data migration activities tied to the cloud-based software program
Requirements:
Proven experience leading IT project management engagements with multiple parallel workstreams in infrastructure and software environments
Strong understanding of networking concepts, with the ability to manage projects involving cabling, hardware placement, and site connectivity
Experience coordinating vendors, internal technical teams, and business stakeholders in a structured project environment
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and practical use of Jira for tracking progress, risks, and deliverables
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of software delivery frameworks, process engineering, and project documentation standards
Ability to create clear plans, maintain organized project artifacts, and communicate status effectively to varied audiences
