Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Charles, Missouri. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving organizational change and digital transformation within a university setting. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of new technologies and processes across various departments, including academics, enrollment, and student services.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies that align with organizational goals and digital transformation objectives
  • Conduct impact assessments to identify key stakeholders and recommend targeted interventions to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes
  • Create and execute engagement, communication, and training plans to foster acceptance and support for organizational changes
  • Establish governance frameworks, including sponsor coalitions and change networks, to facilitate effective change management
  • Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, and operational leaders to integrate change activities into overall project plans
  • Evaluate organizational readiness, address resistance, and develop strategies to overcome cultural and operational barriers
  • Mentor and guide change management teams across multiple initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Measure and report on adoption rates and the impact of change initiatives using dashboards and metrics
  • Design and deliver scalable tools, templates, and playbooks to support ongoing change management efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in change management, including at least 4 years focused on large-scale technology transformations
  • Demonstrated experience leading change initiatives within the higher education sector
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in matrixed organizations
  • Expertise in overseeing change management teams across multiple projects
  • Strong background in digital transformation, process improvement, and system integration
  • Experience working with senior leaders to build support for change
  • Certifications such as Prosci, PMP, or Agile Scrum are highly desirable
