Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead complex IT initiatives in Peridot, Arizona. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a strategic project leader who can align project goals, resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while driving measurable results. The role requires strong cross-functional coordination, client engagement, and a disciplined approach to delivery within Agile and traditional project environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead large-scale, high-impact projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables remain on track
  • Define project objectives, work plans, staffing needs, and required resources while addressing risks and resolving issues across teams
  • Oversee budget planning and resource distribution to support efficient execution and successful project outcomes
  • Partner with business stakeholders and clients to clarify service expectations, gather requirements, and improve delivery strategies
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to evaluate services, manage partnerships, and support procurement-related activities such as proposal development
  • Build and guide project teams by assigning responsibilities, supporting performance, and encouraging technical and functional growth throughout the engagement
  • Establish progress tracking methods, monitor milestones, and implement corrective actions when project performance deviates from plan
  • Conduct strategic analysis to support decision-making, identify opportunities for process improvement, and help implement operational changes
  • Represent client priorities in discussions with leadership and collaborate across functions to solve problems and drive project success

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience managing IT projects, including responsibility for complex, enterprise-level initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Hands-on knowledge of Agile Scrum practices and the ability to apply structured project management methodologies effectively
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, vendors, and stakeholder communications
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and related project tracking tools
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
