Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to oversee and guide projects from initial analysis to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role involves managing timelines, budgets, and resources while delivering high-quality outcomes. Located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this is a Long-term Contract position offering an opportunity to drive cross-functional collaboration and organizational success.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage projects from the analysis phase through implementation, ensuring objectives are met within established timelines and budgets
  • Assemble and coordinate project teams, assigning tasks and identifying resource needs for successful completion
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules while monitoring deadlines and milestones
  • Oversee project scope and escalate changes or risks as necessary to maintain quality and deliverables
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders, including managers and users
  • Establish an efficient project structure that optimizes costs and productivity
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project outcomes and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and resolving challenges
  • Utilize project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Jira, to ensure project success
  • Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent training and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, including cross-functional team leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Jira
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience in facilitating meetings and negotiations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and project resources simultaneously

Nice to have:

  • PMP certification and familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology preferred
  • Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable
  • Skilled in analysis, problem-solving, and delivering process improvements
