Job Description:

Under direction, oversees large and complex, integrated program(s)/ projects. Implements work scope, provides program/project planning, budget, and administration, and develops related operational policies and procedures. This role will primarily focus on, planning, development, testing, and implementation of solutions to gain operational efficiencies and effectiveness within the Stericycle Compliance Solutions business unit. Key knowledge areas include: sales strategy, phone system/call routing/productivity enhancement, comp plans, value delivery, and training. Individual is expected to work independently with limited guidance and understand how and when to escalate issues, risks, etc.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leads the coordination with Stericycle business sponsors to define the requirements and scope for global strategic projects
  • Identifies resources needed for project teams
  • Schedules tasks, deadlines, and key milestones
  • Looks for ways to mitigate resource constraints and other risks, associated with the timeline
  • Establishes best practices for managing projects
  • Leads project assignments with limited direction and has the autonomy to make decisions and recommendations in accordance to policy, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Works with resources to execute on global projects/ business initiates
  • Manages the project lifecycle including requirements, development, testing, and launch
  • Direct accountability for project delivery
  • Must implement effective and efficient business solutions, perform management and oversight of complex projects, and provide ongoing strategic direction to project teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business or communication or the equivalent in related work experience
  • Seven or more years of Sales and/or Marketing experience in a service-oriented industry, including three or more years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational development and training preferred
  • Demonstrates expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel PowerPoint, MapPoint, Project and Visio
