Job Responsibility

  • Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on Software activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project
  • Processing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (mainly but not limited to Engineering and Service)
  • Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval
  • Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers
  • Report as well as escalation to relevant committees
  • Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers
  • Coordination of technical aspects and risk management
  • Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or similar
  • Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred)
  • Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on electrical and control functions
  • Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server)
  • Experience in an ERP and PLM system advantageous
  • Preferred experience in the wind power industry
