Job Description

Our technology client in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on Smartsheet expert to create automated, end-to-end workflows that improve efficiency, reporting and visibility across teams. This role focuses on building scalable Smartsheet solutions using automation, dashboards and advanced reporting capabilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and optimize end-to-end Smartsheet workflows from intake through reporting
  • Configure automations including alerts, approvals, reminders and conditional logic
  • Create executive-ready dashboards and real-time reporting
  • Develop cross-sheet formulas, reports and data rollups
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing Smartsheet implementations
  • Document workflows and provide light user guidance

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Smartsheet experience
  • Expert knowledge of Smartsheet automation, dashboards and reporting
  • Proven experience building workflow-driven solutions
  • Strong understanding of permissions, sharing models and governance
  • Ability to work independently in a contract environment
  • Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical partners

Nice to have

  • Smartsheet certifications
  • Experience with integrations such as Jira, Microsoft 365 or Salesforce
  • Background supporting PMO, operations or large-scale programs
