Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager or Site Manager to lead conveyor system retrofit installations at Amazon facilities. The first assignment is in West Jefferson, OH with ongoing projects planned throughout the country. This is a contract-to-hire position with potential for long-term, nationwide project leadership. Strong performers may be offered a permanent full-time role overseeing future Amazon projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage day-to-day operations for conveyor retrofit projects at Amazon sites
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon safety procedures, reporting standards, and operational protocols
  • Submit daily progress reports and coordinate communication across all project stakeholders
  • Monitor and log inbound shipments, materials, and site deliveries
  • Track and manage change orders and schedule modifications
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison between all teams and contractors
  • Maintain documentation using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Facilitate virtual communication through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack
  • Supervise a dedicated administrative assistant (2:1 PM to Admin ratio)

Requirements:

  • Direct experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager on at least one recent Amazon facility project (must be listed on resume)
  • Strong background in construction, mechanical systems, or automation project management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Familiar with collaboration platforms: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack
  • Working knowledge of Amazon’s RME (Reliability, Maintenance, Engineering) Program is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills—daily reporting and coordination is a critical function
  • Self-sufficient and able to lead projects with minimal supervision after onboarding
  • Pass initial screening and technical interview
  • Complete virtual interview with VP via Microsoft Teams
  • Pass a 10-panel drug test and criminal background check (no felonies, theft, or violent offenses)
  • Willing and able to travel and temporarily relocate for each project assignment
