We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Senior Consultant to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge curriculum for advanced manufacturing and industrial maintenance technicians. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to collaborate with design and development teams to create impactful educational materials. The role is fully remote, with occasional client visits based on location availability.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design and development of comprehensive curriculum materials for advanced manufacturing and industrial maintenance technician courses
Work collaboratively with analysts and developers to transform design concepts into ready-to-use instructional packages
Develop course materials such as job aids, task lists, and classroom resources to support effective learning experiences
Ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards and addresses the needs of learners preparing for careers in advanced manufacturing
Utilize tools like Google Slides, Google Docs, and Articulate 360 to create high-quality instructional content
Incorporate practical applications such as programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, power distribution systems, and conveyor belts into the curriculum
Provide insights and expertise in instructional design within the tech and manufacturing sectors
Occasionally meet with clients to gather feedback and refine curriculum based on their requirements
Collaborate with leadership, including the Vice President and Director of Advanced Manufacturing, to align deliverables with organizational goals
Explore innovative technologies such as augmented reality to enhance the learning experience
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or related fields
Proficiency in designing instructional materials for technical and manufacturing industries
Familiarity with tools such as Articulate 360, Google Docs, and Google Slides
Strong understanding of advanced manufacturing technology, including Allen Bradley equipment and Siemens systems
Knowledge of industrial processes involving programmable logic controllers, conveyor belts, cooling towers, and shaft alignments
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with teams
Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results
Nice to have:
Experience with augmented reality applications is a plus
