Job Description

Are you interested in joining a multinational company leader in the renewable energies sector? The Construction department is in charge of the construction of wind projects and installation and commissioning of the wind turbines (supply & installation / EPC) under contracts sold by the sales department.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and supervise fulfillment of safety and environmental procedures related to projects
  • Secure customer relationships, leading to increased customer satisfaction
  • Represent the organization towards Customers and Subcontractors project management
  • Ensure the key objectives for each project, including profitability, cash flow and time
  • Develop and monitor project time plans as well as establish action and recovery plans
  • Guarantee the right reporting and forecasting of time progress and financial performance of each project
  • Strive for improving on-time and even early completion of the projects
  • Perform Risk and Opportunities management within the projects
  • Ensure the establishment of the project execution vision & strategy
  • Make sure that a contract management plan is defined and implemented on project level
  • Ensure that the project's communication is adequately handled internally and externally
  • Implement Vestas project management and site installation processes and procedures
  • Seek continuous improvement by proposing relevant methods and tools
  • Lead and coach the project and site installation team
  • Participate in developing the procurement strategy of projects
  • Provide support in the tendering phase by delivering support to the Bid Management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and construction, preferably acquired in the wind industry or in the energy sector
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Experience in installation and EPC contracts
  • Financial and contract management skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English
