Are you a Project Manager with 6+ years of experience leading IT projects with a focus on business process and organizational change?. Our Alberta-based Financial client is seeking a Project Manager for a 10 month contract. Client: Financial Services Duration: 10 months Location: Remote Pay Rate: between $87-103/hr INC

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Program Manager to set program standards (focusing on quality management) and ensure all activities align with broader portfolio goals
  • Execution & Planning: Develop and execute detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget oversight
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address risks/issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • deliver data-driven reports highlighting achievements, risks, and financial status
  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors, providing the guidance necessary to meet milestones while fostering strong stakeholder relationships

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience leading IT projects with a focus on business process and organizational change
  • Stakeholder & Scope Management: Partner with Technology Enablement, Business, and third-party stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
