The Project Manager - Proposals is a key member of the Project Development Office, within Amentum’s Engineering, Projects, Integration & Construction (EPIC) team. Based in Alice Springs, this role delivers proposal development services in support of construction, operation, maintenance and management of facility assets, infrastructure and systems within the scope of Amentum programs and pursuits within Australia. This position plays an integral role within a diverse and complex work environment that is responsible for the management and control of critical infrastructure configuration, construction and project management.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the end-to-end proposal development and submission process, including interpretation of RFPs, coordinating RFI’s, developing solution strategies, SOW preparation, bid analysis, strategic planning and execution package development
Analyse tender/RFP requirements and develop proposal strategies
Lead and facilitate the development, review and release of all required proposal elements
Develop detailed project execution packages in support of awarded proposals
Support and manage project execution as assigned
Ensure all proposal documentation is maintained IAW current document control processes
Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace
Requirements:
Undergraduate Qualifications in Business, Management, or Project Management
Proposal and Project Management process knowledge
Proposal document preparation using Microsoft Office and Adobe suites
Document Management experience
At least 18 years of age
Able to fluently read, write and speak English
Australian or US citizen
Must be able to obtain TS/SCI or appropriate level of security clearance
