Over sees and leads projects in support of early programs Product Supply Chain Teams and Commercial Value Chain Teams, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves planning, executing, and closing out projects, managing teams, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
Monitoring project costs, tracking spending, and ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule
Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
Leading and motivating project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective communication
Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates, and managing expectations
Ensuring projects adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements
Maintaining accurate project documentation and providing regular progress reports
Overseeing project closeout activities, including final reports, financial reconciliation, and lessons learned
Developing project proposals and cost estimates
Creating and maintaining project schedules, including milestones and deadlines
Conducting regular project status meetings
Managing project scope changes
Ensuring all project deliverables meet quality standards
Managing project budgets
Managing project risks
Leading and motivating project teams
Communicating with stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, engineering, or project management)
5-8 years of demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, preferably in the life sciences industry
Leadership skills: ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and foster collaboration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of relevant technologies, processes, and regulations within the life sciences industry
Understanding of project budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as GMP, FDA regulations, and other industry-specific standards
Approximately 15% travel
Nice to have:
Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP)
