Job Description

The Project Manager (PM) will lead strategic initiatives focused on healthcare security and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment with key federal and state regulations. The PM will drive compliance efforts across protective services policies and procedures, ensuring projects uphold a secure and compliant healthcare environment. Additionally, the PM will collaborate with industry peers to benchmark performance, share best practices, and implement improvements that enhance the organization’s overall security posture.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinates the timely completion of annual security risk surveys and assessment reports
  • Develop, coordinate, and administer departmental programs, projects, and initiatives to reduce risk/crime
  • Prepares security-related project plans, security risk assessments, and other documentation as required
  • Serves as system or database administrator for various departmental applications
  • Assist in project documentation management
  • Conducts resource assignment and schedule maintenance
  • Accepts other assignments for specialty projects as requested and deemed appropriate by assigned Manager
  • Files documents, posts deliverables, schedules meetings, and prepares agendas
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and oversee them through completion
  • Contributes to compliance with federal and state security and risk regulations including The Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA, and Cal/OSHA

  • Coordinates and maintains physical security practices designed to safeguard personnel and prevent unauthorized access to acute and non-acute care facilities
