Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager - Operations to join our team in Portland, Maine. This is a Contract position offering an opportunity to lead and oversee critical operational activities within the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in logistics, procurement, and warehouse management to ensure project success.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage operational aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution
  • Oversee procurement processes, including creating purchase orders and managing vendor relationships
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure seamless delivery of materials and resources to project sites
  • Supervise warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing storage solutions
  • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with established timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain operational workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout all project phases

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse management, and procurement processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in operational workflows and process improvement strategies
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with diverse teams
