Job Description

Are you motivated by driving projects that sit at the intersection of new product development and commercial opportunities? Do you enjoy collaborating across functions and translating customer needs into concrete solutions? Then you might be our new project manager – NPD and commercial opportunities in Diagnostics. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects while working closely with commercial teams such as sales and product management to ensure that customer needs and market opportunities are translated into impactful solutions. You will combine structured project management with a strong interest in commercial value creation, ensuring that projects are delivered with clarity, speed, and quality across the Diagnostics value chain. You will also be involved in product development projects across the full project lifecycle – from early scoping to launch. You will become part of the NPD project management team consisting of 4 engaged fellow Project Managers and reporting to Trine Skovlund Neerup, Senior Manager, NPD Projects. This position is well suited for candidates at an early stage in their career who are looking to grow within project management and gain exposure to both NPD and commercial development.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure collaboration across R&D, operations, QA/RA, supply chain, product management, and commercial teams
  • Develop and maintain structured project plans, ensuring transparency on progress, dependencies, and milestones
  • Translate customer needs and commercial opportunities into clear and actionable project scopes
  • Collaborate closely with product management and key account managers to ensure strong customer understanding and prioritisation
  • Lead NPD projects through the development process, ensuring clear scope, deliverables, and timelines across functions
  • Ensure consistent communication on project status, risks, and next steps to stakeholders
  • Identify and manage risks across technical, operational, and commercial dimensions
  • Support decision-making by providing structure, clarity, and recommendations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working and project execution across the value chain

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's or master's degree within engineering, business, or a related field
  • Have initial experience with project work or project management (this could be early in your career)
  • Experience with software development is an advantage
  • Have an interest in working with both product development and commercial topics
  • Are comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders across technical and commercial domains
  • Communicate clearly and are able to create structure and transparency in complex settings
  • Are proactive, curious, and motivated to take ownership and drive progress
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and build strong working relationships
  • Experience from Medtech, Diagnostics, or regulated environments is an advantage, but not a requirement
