We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will oversee complex financial projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals. Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage M&A projects, ensuring smooth transitions and successful integration of acquired entities
  • Oversee the consolidation and reporting of balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence to assess risks and opportunities in potential acquisitions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for mergers and acquisitions
  • Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure objectives are met
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting during mergers
  • Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the acquisition process

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects
  • Strong knowledge of ledger balance sheet accounts and consolidated balance sheets
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements in the asset management industry
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
