Job Description

The Global Operations Integrity Team protects Meta's communities by building fast, scalable support systems to address safety-related incidents on our products. We focus on improving the health of our platforms and preventing both online and real-world harm. The Child Safety Team operates at the intersection of technology and human judgment. As we enter a new era of generative AI, the threat landscape is evolving—and so must our solutions. We're looking for an experienced project manager who can navigate ambiguity, drive cross-functional alignment, and build systems that protect children at scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and improve day-to-day Child Safety operations against quality and efficiency targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead investigations into high-priority escalations to diagnose enforcement system failures—understanding what happened, why, and how to prevent recurrence
  • Create feedback loops between escalation learnings and upstream detection/enforcement systems
  • Implement LLM-powered solutions to detect, classify, and action Child Safety violations across text, image, and multimodal content
  • Analyze data to identify user trends, adversarial tactics, and malicious behavior patterns
  • Build and maintain working relationships across multiple partner teams, including Product, Data Science, Data Engineering, Legal, and Policy
  • Manage projects spanning multiple teams, driving from problem identification through solution deployment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years experience in operations, technology, management consulting, trust & safety, or equivalent environment
  • Experience managing and prioritizing projects across various stakeholders and functions
  • Experience in a role involving strategic/analytical initiatives (project management, consulting, data analysis, or technical systems) and/or customer operations
  • Experience working on ambiguous problems that require strategic direction, situational analysis, and conceptual thinking
  • Experience communicating with a variety of audiences, including engineering and technical teams
  • Willingness to work with potentially graphic and objectionable content

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of programming languages, for example SQL, Python, R
  • Experience with machine learning concepts, LLM applications, or AI/ML product development
  • Background in child safety, trust & safety, or content moderation at scale
  • Familiarity with generative AI products and associated risk vectors
  • Active user of Meta products
