Job Responsibility

  • Develops, refines, validates and manages project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery of major technology initiatives across the enterprise
  • Responsible for utilizing project management methods, standards, project integration as well as the coordination of all internal and external resources required to complete assigned projects
  • Provides timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues
  • analyzes processes and makes recommendations for optimizing resources and product delivery
  • Develops project plans based on specifications provided by the Portfolio Management staff and manages effective execution of the initiatives
  • Builds consensus among multiple process leads relative to project scope, task execution, staffing and issue resolution
  • Sourcing with vendors on behalf of the business area represented
  • Provides overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor project progress
  • Identifies potential risks within the project
  • proactively manages issues
  • Participates in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes and issue escalation
  • Frequently interacts with staff including business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants and other contractors
  • Performs related duties as assigned
  • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with both internal and external team members including executive business owners, product managers and vendors
  • Conduct formal review with business sponsor at project completion to confirm acceptance and satisfaction to track and measure client satisfaction levels and make and implement recommendation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Engineering
  • PMP certification
  • 10+ years of IT experience including prior Project Management experience
  • Good to have: Experience with IT Infrastructure projects like m365 migrations, endpoint migrations/deployments, network refreshes, SAN/NAS deployment and migrations, Windows and Linux OS upgrades, SQL DB upgrades, wifi deployments, Teams room deployments/upgrades, etc
  • Must be a driver and motivator of people

  • Strong experience around project financials / budget management and reporting, and resource capacity management
  • Nice to have: Agile Scrum experience
  • Mandatory - Advanced Excel skills, such as data analysis, pivot tables, lookups
  • Nice to Have - Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) : Jira / Azure DevOps
