This role is ideal for a design-focused professional with 3+ years of experience in an Architecture or Engineering environment who is ready to take the next step into project leadership. You will work closely with Senior Project Managers while independently managing smaller projects, guiding them from concept development through construction documentation and closeout. The position bridges design coordination, client communication, and project administration — making it perfect for someone who understands both the technical and organizational sides of project delivery. If you thrive in fast-paced, technically complex environments and enjoy collaborating across disciplines, this role offers strong growth potential within a design-driven organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist Senior Project Managers from project kickoff through closeout
  • Independently manage smaller, less complex architectural and engineering projects
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams including architectural, structural, MEP, and vendors
  • Serve as client liaison on smaller projects
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and documentation
  • Track task hours, team assignments, and project performance metrics
  • Assist with fee estimates and proposal preparation
  • Coordinate contract administration between design teams and contractors
  • Ensure project scope is accurately reflected in construction documents
  • Prepare project reports for Senior Project Managers and leadership
  • Support delivery of technically complex projects in mission critical, data center, and industrial markets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Architecture or Engineering firm
  • Experience supporting or managing design-phase projects
  • Understanding of design and construction contracts
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting Mission Critical or Data Center projects
  • Experience with Light Industrial or Commercial building design
  • Familiarity with Revit
  • Strong understanding of project delivery methods and contract administration
  • Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven design environment
