Project Manager (Engineering)

• Manage project planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and budget control
• Administer and oversee complex, multi-disciplinary contracts
• Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Align project outcomes with asset management plans and maintenance priorities
• Prepare and present reports and updates to senior executives and stakeholders
• Resolve industrial, contractual, and performance-related issues professionally

• Proven experience in project management, including planning, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and administering multi-disciplinary contracts (including maintenance contracts)
• Exposure to marine infrastructure projects (e.g., timber structures) is highly regarded but not essential
• Strong understanding of project risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of asset maintenance principles and ability to apply asset management plans effectively
• Experience in condition assessments and conducting engineering investigations
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and deliver presentations to diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders
• Skilled in collaborative problem-solving, including negotiating and resolving contractual or performance issues constructively
• Tertiary qualifications in project management and/or civil/structural engineering or relevant experience
• Eligible for admission to membership of Engineers Australia
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management concepts
• Demonstrated knowledge of OH&S regulations and code of practice
