Job Description:

To lead the planning and delivery of Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission and substation projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role brings together engineering, procurement, and construction activities to deliver reliable and cost-effective infrastructure in line with utility requirements and international standards. As a Project Engineer; to apply strong technical expertise and project management capabilities in the delivery of ExtraHigh Voltage (EHV) power transmission projects, ensuring the safe, reliable, and timely completion of substation and transmission infrastructure in full compliance with utility requirements and international standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets for EHV substation and transmission projects
  • Manage project documentation, progress tracking, and reporting to stakeholders and management
  • Lead design reviews and ensure engineering deliverables comply with IEC/IEEE and client specifications
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to resolve technical issues
  • Liaise with suppliers, OEMs, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials
  • Enforce adherence to quality assurance (QA/QC) procedures and safety standards
  • Lead trouble shooting and resolution proposal
  • Facilitate coordination meetings and ensure clear communication across all project parties

Requirements:

  • Open to Engineer to Assistant Manager level (typically 2–10 years of relevant experience)
  • 2 to 10 years of relevant experiences
  • Candidates with experience in equipment such as GIS, transformers, shunt reactors, power cables and power plant-related
  • Power transmission and distribution projects
  • HV/ EHV substations
  • EPC or power infrastructure environment
  • Commercial or substation-related projects
  • Hands on project experience in 66kV and above, 400kV is highly preferable
  • Degree in Electrical or equivalent
