Job Responsibility:
Define and execute the comprehensive digital strategy for the manufacturing department
Drive cultural transformation toward customer-centric, agile, and innovation-driven operations
Establish digital roadmaps aligned with the global supply chain strategy
Lead technology benchmarking and best practice identification across pharmaceutical industry
Manage end-to-end digitalization projects (MES, SAP, data analytics platforms)
Coordinate cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality, and IT
Develop business cases and project initiation forms for digital investments
Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Build and lead high-performing digital teams (hiring, coaching, development)
Drive digital literacy programs for operators and technicians
Foster innovation culture through informed risk-taking and continuous improvement
Manage stakeholder relationships across Belgium digitalization board and global centers
Optimize manufacturing value chain through digital solutions
Implement predictive analytics and real-time monitoring systems
Reduce operational risks through digital risk assessment methodologies
Enhance regulatory compliance through automated quality systems
Requirements:
University degree in Civil, Chemical, or Biological Engineering
4-6 years total experience with minimum 2-3 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing/technical management
Proven track record in digital transformation projects within regulated industries
Advanced proficiency in: MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, Excel, Power BI/Tableau
Strong knowledge of: SAP, MES systems, SQL, cloud platforms
Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing systems (Bodhee preferred)
Analytical excellence with ability to solve complex operational challenges
Innovation mindset with proven solution development capabilities
Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management
Strong planning/organizational abilities for multi-project coordination
Quality-focused approach with attention to regulatory compliance
