A leading independent construction and property consultancy is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their growing Birmingham office. This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to work across a strong pipeline of residential projects alongside a variety of other sectors including commercial, education and mixed-use developments. The successful Project Manager will become part of an established and collaborative team delivering projects for a diverse client base across the Midlands. The Project Manager will gain exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract project stages, working closely with senior team members and clients across residential-led developments. This Project Manager position also offers clear progression opportunities and support towards professional chartership. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
Job Responsibility
Managing projects through all project stages
Supporting residential developments alongside other sector projects
Coordinating consultants, contractors and stakeholders
Preparing project reporting, programmes and meeting documentation
Monitoring project budgets and delivery timelines
Supporting procurement and contract administration activities
Managing client and stakeholder communication
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements
Consultancy or client-side project management experience
Residential project experience preferred
Experience across additional sectors such as commercial or education beneficial
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
Degree qualified in Construction, Project Management or similar
Working towards or interested in achieving chartership with RICS, CIOB or APM
